Kakapo's August Lockdown Learning.

Just like Piwakawaka, Kakapo has been doing similar things because we do a lot of work together when we are at school. We also had a picnic with our toys. We had a mixed range of toys because not all of us have teddy bears. We then went on to use adjectives to describe our toys.

On the next day we used a A4 size paper to draw our toy and coloured it in with whatever colouring tools we had at home. They look amazing. We liked Ms Sands idea of putting all our drawings together to make a Waikowhai collaborative piece of art when we get back to school.

Then we went on to do some activities with our toys to make their day and ours fun. We had an amazing time drawing, taking photos and writing about the activities.

Kakapo have been working really hard during the lockdown with their reading, writing and maths.

Krish's description of his toy.

Ella's description of Polly Bear

Micah's description of Kiwi.

Gina's description of her unicorn.
Gabriel's description of Browny Bear.

Ryder's description of his special bear.

AND here are our toy portraits. Don't they look amazing?
