Kakapo has been really busy with our online learning. We have read books and watched videos about the sun. As part of our Inquiry learning, we wanted to know more about the sun. We learnt some really new, exciting and important facts about the sun.
Then we decide to write an information report about it. Our Success Criteria was to include- a title, an introduction, list of facts and a conclusion.
We planned our writing on the first day and then wrote our report on the next day.
Gina's report
Jas report
Ella's report
Risha's report
Ryder's report
Daffodil Day is the Cancer Society's biggest fundraising event. Unfortunately because of the lockdown, they had to cancel this. But there are so many different ways to show our support. We choose to draw some daffodils and display them on our windows and ask people to make a donation on the Cancer Society website.
Wow Kakapo, what busy people you have been this week. I loved reading yout information reports about the sun. You have learned so many interesting facts about the sun and wrote your reports using interesting language.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit sad that we can't have the Daffodil Day like we usually do but it's good we can still give. Your pictures of beautiful yellow daffodils were amazing. Great work Kakapo! Maybe you could put them up on your house windows like we put our poppies on ANZAC day.
Keep up the super duper work
