Kakapo has been doing some really wonderful and exciting things at home during Lockdown. It has been really nice to catch up with them during our Zoom meetings. We have been reading the book, Hungry Giants Shoe. The giant has lost one of his brand new read shoe and has demanded the town people to look for it. The children had used the shoe as a boat so it was really wet when it was returned to the giant. Kakapo felt sorry for him and decided to design a new pair for him. Have a look at our designs.
Some of us have also been busy creating things with Lego and constructing buildings.

Amir had his birthday as well. He helped his mum to bake a cake and then had a special birthday party. This is one birthday that you will never forget Amir.

You have been super busy and very creative Kakapo! Great to see how engaged you are with your learning. I like your shoe designs for the giant. I'm sure the giant would wear them all. Since NZ has been on lockdown, I have just been wearing my slippers at home. Happy birthday Amir - good on you for helping mum bake your birthday cake! We celebrated my dad's birthday using the 'zoom' app. I look forward to hearing more about your online distance learning. Tino pai!

ReplyDeleteThe Giant's shoe designs were spectacular. I would like to have colourful shoes and boots like that. Maybe you could design some slippers for the Giant while he is in lockdown indoors? I can't wait to see what book you read next.
